On August 24th, Jay started Pre-K. Even though he has been in "school" for years, this was a really big deal for us. We found an amazing Pre-K program, a montessori based program with a lot of structure which is perfect for my little man who is very bright and curious but thrives with routine and structure. Big boy went off to school like a champ but Mommy on the other hand wanted to sit in the parking lot all day just to make sure all was ok. A month or so later after dropping him off at car line and watching him walk confidently into school I finally was able to do it w/o shedding a tear. Jay is thriving in school and having a blast...he even has a "girlfriend"..really? Oh, this is going to be interesting!
